Evangelist Larry Clayton has been in the ministry for more than fifty years and has been holding revivals since the age of eighteen, preaching throughout the United States, Central America, the Caribbean Islands, Africa, Mexico, South America, and Asia. Over 65 mission fields in all. He is the president of the Salvation Evangelistic Association of Cleveland, Ohio, a local church ministry out of the Cleveland Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio; Rev. Kevin Folger, pastor. Rev. Clayton was baptized and ordained by the world famous Akron Baptist Temple of Akron, Ohio. He has pastored several churches and helped, "churches start churches" over 100 times. Clayton is the author of many tracts and booklets that have been widely published and used in the U.S.A., Puerto Rico, Mexico, Philippines and Africa. He holds an honorary doctor's degree in Christian literature, is a graduate of the Summer School of Radio and Television, and has appeared on radio and television talk shows all over the world. His sermons were broadcast over Viet Nam radio stations to our servicemen during the war. The Salvation Evangelistic Association, of which Dr. Clayton is the president, is an evangelistic ministry organized for the purpose of starting new churches and Bible colleges where there are none.
